Home sweet home: The terraced houses of the third residential phase of Botanica. CT.
MTT PROPERTIES & Development Sdn Bhd has sold more than half of the homes under the third phase of the Botanica. CT residential project.
The phase consisted of 63 landed property units.
Its marketing manager Michelle Goh said that since the soft launch in April, the company had already sold 70% of the 32 double-storey terraced houses and 30% of the 31 three-storey terraced houses.
The houses, priced from RM680,000, are located next to the Prince of Wales Island International School, a British boarding school.
The 1,959 sq ft two-storey terraced houses and the 2,480sq ft three-storey terraced units are scheduled for completion in 2015.
The home designs are inspired by colonial architecture and they offer ample space for total comfort and practicality for house buyers.
Located within the RM1bil Botanica. CT garden township project on a 300-acre site in Balik Pulau, Penang, the residential units have doubled in prices since 2006.
“The first phase of the scheme in 2006 comprised some 150 double-storey terraced houses with 1,700sq ft of built-up area.
“They were priced at RM270,000 while the 1,900sq ft double-storey semi-detached units were sold for RM370,000.

“Today, the property has appreciated by more than 50%,” she said.
Similarly, the larger double-storey terraced and double-storey semi-detached houses priced at RM500,000 and RM700,000 respectively in 2009 have also increased in price.
Goh said the appreciation of the property in Botanica. CT had to do with the planned concept of the project.
“There are nine residential phases to be completed in 2020.
“Amongst the facilities planned are a commercial village, health and spa resort, a medical centre and a retirement resort,” she said.
